Yesterday Zay fell asleep on my lap, and about after a half hour, the door bell rang and my dog went psycho waking Zay up. It was Fed Ex with my NEW camera! I didn't even care that Zay's nap was cut short, because I was so so so excited. He even did a happy dance with me ;)
My cousin moved into town recently (YES! I have been waiting for this day since she left about 9 years ago!) and I wanted to get some photos of our boys together. They are both 2! Since Valentine's day is coming up quick, I figured why not a cutesey Valentines day shoot?! We went to Target the other day, and picked out some props. My son wanted this wirey heart, and I found a felt heart strand to hang up. AND they were on sale. Can't beat that.
Once I figured out how to put my dang camera strap on the camera I called Aislyn and told her we had to do photos ASAP! I drove around for a little bit looking for a location with trees close together so I could hang up the hearts. I remembered this little ravine next to our house that ended up working perfect.
It was pretty chilly out, so I took one little man at a time, while the other waited in the car with the heater blasting... and we were super super quick with photos. Don't worry, We didn't make them freeze to get these photos ;)
You can see the two personalities above. Mason was cooperative and wanted me to take his photo and Zay wasn't having it. They have completely different personalities and I love both! Mas is easy go with the flow type, and Zay is "spirited" as my family calls him.... Which is short for "crazy silly monster who wants things his way or the highway"in my opinion. I love it :)...................
I did get some pretty amazing ones of both, even if Zay wouldn't make eye contact! haha. I'm starting to wonder how he would do if it was someone else photographing him instead of his Momma... I may have to find out soon,
That last one was too funny not to share... he just told me that he tooted! haha.
I also wanted to share some photos from a session that I had last week. The family was awesome. They were willing to do pretty much anything. I love when my clients are into the photos as much as I am. It makes my job so much easier!
Which photo is your favorite? I'd LOVE to know!
